CTRA ruled!

The ending was great.
Car ahead: "I'm winning! Haha, fuck you!" (flips) "Ahh nooo!"

Thats race 3, woops :)
Yeah, I hear what your saying. Often I'll let go wide for the first lap and let people pass just to avoid a first lap accident, but, as you've said; you've got to be aggressive with a full field and anyone able to get set up a PayPal account steering left and right with the keyboard arrows. A single file warm up lap would help clean up the messy start but we've yet to see it. Pretty sure I left this comment after a CTRA 1 race battered and enraged. Sorry.
Good driving btw!

Thanks :) I must have gone through that video 30 times... I spent an afternoon on it. I used the milliseconds on the elapsed time display from the HUD, otherwise I never would have managed.
I did buy fraps but now I need to make the time to get some track-side camera angles mixed in. And I have a collection of good races to go through...

Wow, you did well, it's seamless, how many times did you have to run the replay to get enough 30s caps?

Nice Movie Guys - hes a legend! hgrant.net
Love CTRA race 2.
Not to be flat-out controversial but don't you think you crowded the other drivers a bit? I'd imaging the guy you spun through the chicane had something to say after the race.
Good vid.

And with the new physics update, there are a lot of racers on the CTRA servers these days.
I agree with you that Evo, the driver whose car I captured from, drove a bit too aggressively. My car is the one just in front of him on the start grid and you can see I tap the brake to make room for the driver beside me just before the chicane you mention :) Courteous driving is appreciated if not required.

nice vid, how do u get that custom onboard view?
banndersnatch 4 years ago
if you cycle through the views there is one that you can set up however you want. the tricky part was adjusting the g force sensitivity of the camera to make it bounce with the bumps in the road, but just enough to be realistic
