I love the coo-ing and his reaction to the scratches, he clearly loves the interaction with his human, I just wish he got to hatch his egg.

He loves people and the attention he receives. He is a very happy pigeon.

I agree, pigeons are smarter then people give them credit for. Dump a human somewhere and have them find their way home! We can't! From what I have read, these birds have the best memory of any animal. Personally I love them.

Boy are you ever right! I once sat with my pet pigeon and friend Pidge and counted 21 words and phrases that she understood and reacted to. (May God rest her soul.)
