Homeless Child

I was sad seeing a mom and a child around 4-5 months old, standing next to their tent underneath the end of the South 710 Freeway. I could not explain my feelings when I saw this scenario... while running towards the light house in Long Beach, I starting questioning myself. What if that situation happened to my family, what would be my next action? On the way back from the light house, I still see the child with his mom siting on the short stool, probably waiting for someone for help. This morning is the most sorrowful day that I ever had so far. At a very young age, the child is already homeless... I wish I had all the resources and money to help these homeless people under the end of South 710 Freeway.

@chinaeyes22 I agree with you. And, for me I felt so bad because I was not be able to help this people. I agree that most people get accustomed to the lifestyle of being poor. However, seeing that child with those group of filt homeless people really melt my heart. I'm sad... I'm not be to help them. :p(

Poverty is a part of life, Romeo. I see that a lot here in the Philippines. There are some people who are born poor and are already accustomed to living with little things to get by in life. I guess material possessions complicates life. The more we are exposed to a higher lifestyle, the more we want. It's more of adaptation. Still, I feel bad whenever I see children living this day. We only have their parents to blame. We can only thank God that he has blessed us with a comfortable life. :-)
