In this mini series(?) Jaspas shows his favourite few haunts within Singapore that Cardists visiting Singapore can visit.
In this episode, he takes you on a mini-tour of Sungei Road's Thieve Market.
Rumors claim that the reason the road is called "Thieve's Market" is because most of the goods there are stolen. It was said that during the colonial periods, the military's items were often stolen and sold here.
Today however, it seems far more likely that the goods here are unwanted goods sold to "Garang Guni" (door to door rag and bones men).
