RACEshield Bicycle Protection Kits/Film

- This video is to involve you better with the step by step instructions on the pack.
- Free the crank arm from dirt & grease (& I really mean clean!) with rubbing alcohol or anything along that line for optimal adhesion.
- A very mild solution of soap (1~1.5ml of johnson baby bath to 1L or water) is required. Spray bottle or bowl is up to our preference. This retard adhesion time so you have ample time to adjust!
- Always keep your finger wet while handling/installing, to reduce fingerprints or any reduction in adhesion.
- Slide, aim & align to position.
- Wet the surface of the shield so, it is slippery & smooth to push out (squeegee or credit card) the solution like butter!
- Press (in a rolling motion) with fingers or palm on the edges. Stay on for stubborn edges as human heat accelerates adhesion time.
- Ready to trash the tarmac or trail after a full 24hrs of curing/drying.

  • We would if it works... But you can't really feel her with touch, & literally need to remove & apply often.. Ouch*

  • wasting time en money........put some packing tape..

  • Can u apply to wife to keep her goog looking ? :-)

  • what a waste of time and money. Do u wanna use the bike or what ???

  • you can better put your bicycle into the grave, so nothing could damage it =)

  • or conversely you could adjust your cleats properly so that your heels & shoes don't rub. You just defeated the whole weight benefit of dura-ace by adding 5 grams of stickers, might as well bought Ultegra.

  • I second to that. Wet installation on motorcycles (large pieces) gave me ample time to adjust!

My experience is.. higher%-tage of soap content, provide ultra ease of alignments before tacking... takes a much longer time to dry especially on the edges! ... So patience is required in this case...

Vice versa, it very hard to align & sticks very fast if a low %-tage of soap is used.

BTW.. i experienced water bubbles/bulges.. & they disappear within a few days. So don't poke it!

    Cheers!

  • Wowza, the wet and apply type of crank skin looks way easier to apply that the tacky adhesive found in other crank skins. With theirs, it's not as easy to correct mistakes.

I think I'll buy your product.
