What are portions and serving sizes?
Well, we should have 5 - 9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and one serving is the size of a tennis ball.
We need lean meats each day. One serving of meat is the size of a deck of cards.
Carbohydrates serving sizes are equal to the size of an adult fist.
Remember, half of your plate should be fruits and veggies, the other half is protein and carbs.
