a canadian pressing mgm in pretty scratched condition, i have to put coins on top of the tone arm because the tone arm will very easily skate along the surface im guessing because of the bass. etc, if it plays better i will play it on the hmv record player

  • I did not know that by the late 50's they were still making 78 rmp record of rock recording. Even that time that would have been viewed out of date .But you bet this disk was not breakable. since it was probably in the same plastic instead of shellack

  • @mikemcgee its not that people thought 78s were out of date, its that they thought LPs and 45s were modern

    and it is made of vinyl instaid of shelac, however as the bottom of my foot recently discovered 78s were still made of shelac in the late 50s
