I've been listening to this elegant woman all of my adult life. Aside from Streisand noone else quite lays back into a note the way she does it seems to me. And what a stylist, she gets right inside the lyric every time. I was so fortunate as a young singer to meet her @ the Hilton, Sydney in the 60's I think. So gracious.

Classic Nancy Wilson. Bittersweet, sad, such finality. She makes you feel the pain even when you're in a good mood.

@sanan22 It's off her Nancy Wilson's Greatest Hits Album!

which album is this song on?

From the first time I heard you when I was 16, you have ALWAYS been the only woman whose music REALLY touches me. I own almost everything you've done, and that's quite a bit.
When you look up the word class in the dictionary, it says: CLASS: adverb: Nancy Wilson adjective: Nancy Wilson. And for some reason which I can't explain, of the wealth of material you have done, this is the one.

WOW ... how lovely on a brisk october morning
Nancy Wilson doesn't sing just notes, she sings feelings. She is singular and so very sophisticated. Her voice is like an old-fashioned eau-de-cologne or an expensive cigar. It's full of fragrance, symphony and hues that will stay with you close to your skin all day long. I can't understand why we don't hear her very often on the radio. I suppose mainstream radios are not interested in playing timeless, elegant music like this. Thank god we have youtube to make up for the good music,

Beautiful sounds like this deserve much more than a mere YouTube comment. Its like more than just listening to a song be sung, its like experiencing in listening what she experienced in life, in love, in loss in gain...this is a very spiritual song because she poured out the very essence of herself into this song where it can evoke memories just by closing your eyes and listening. You cant help by go back to some happy memorable time as a child...
