Lets see if it works... Minimag Co. electronic module, Spark Demon coil and 4 AA cells fire a 1940's Lister D petrol engine. Original magneto HT lead disconnected (and grounded). Sub-miniature magnetic sensor 'sees' a neodymium magnet attached to magneto sprocket.
Coil is really intended to drive miniature 1/4" x 32TPI model engine plugs -
there's plenty in reserve.
