Nancy, if you use the big icing tip with a 16in bag... you wont have to crumb coat any of your cakes. It makes a thicker layer of icing than with the spatula alone. Goodluck!

Do you use crisco or sweetex to make your buttercream? Do you have a receipe for making this receipe into chocolate buttercream icing?

Hey Nancy, thanks a ton for the recipe. I thing its pretty easy and simple. I will give it a try next time. Inbtw , sorry to bother you with questions...I was wondering how many cups of BC will that recipe yield?

I'm not sure how many cups but you will have A LOT of BC. I actually make it in that huge batch, and freeze it. I was able to fill up 2 really large tupperwares with it. By the time I finished the cake, I had about half of a container left.
