This is a recording of an informal and closely attended musical sitting. Here Pt. Sanjoy Bandopadhyay [http://www.sanjoybandopadhyay.com] played a brief Tilak Kamod on his sitar. I liked the way the artist depicted the raga. I enjoyed the style and the easy flowing middle tempo tans with the traditional slow tempo gat in Trital [16 beats]. I thought it would be nice to share this music with you despite my amateur video work.
The young Chiranjit Mukherjee provided good tabla support. Chiranjit is a disciple of Pt. Kumar Bose and is an undergraduate student of Tabla at the Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
I am not happy with the editing [audio and video are not also synchronized throughout] and also the video that I did with my 'no experience' in camera handling, I hope you will bear with this.

This is an excellent production. It took me to a different world and kept me there for 25 minuets. Very well done! I must also commend the tabla performance. The video is nice too! Thanks for uploading, and perhaps you will upload more videos of this length and quality. Thanks in advance!
