Man thumbs up just on the fact that when the music kicks in I feel like I'm back desperately trying to get a few more shots off before my ammo explodes or the heat caused a shut down. The ones after this just never caught that lighting in the jar feel. Not only was the music just better but the story and missions have just never been tight as this game felt. Hehe that damned computer voice too :) basically saying "your going to die" every two seconds with warnings that I would just override :D

I always play this soundtrack while playing Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries online, it just makes the experience feel complete. :)

I had the game... never played it actually but, I used to put the CD on my old stereo... felling so nostalgic!!

Waltz is my favourite. I still have my disks, so I'll probably go rip the cds to my mp3 for the full mechwarrior 2 audio experience.

@TheMechGamer Make sure that it's the original edition because the titanium edition is cut off like this.

i remember that when i was i kid i used to put the discs -mercs and mech 2- on my cd player and listen to them all day (skipping track 1 of course lol). Awesome OST, brings back memories. Does anyone now where i can download them from? My discs are busted

@zonkabe You can get them from the downloads section of either khinsider[dot]com (also has a lot of other games) or sarna[dot]net (specifically battletech games).
