Thanks Michelle for sharing! the best tutorial and cake advice. I just finished covering my cake with ganache and cleaned the edges and sides with spatula dipped in boiling water, it looks rock solid. Do I still have to let it sit over night before covering with fondant ?

hi, the consistency of the ganache in this video is a lot thicker than the 1st vid, is it because u let it cool down & put in fridge overnight?

Is there a name for the cake boards that you use?

@mundo1597 Hi the recipes on my site are what I use to use. I use something different now just purely because of the volume of cake batter I go through each week.

Hi michelle, your cakes are great. could you please tell me What diameter and height which has the cake form? and could i make the ganache really one day before ?

@kleinermorschi my cakes finish at 4" in height once covered in fondant. Yes you need to make the ganache the day before or at least very early in the morning to use in the evening.
