Wow! Another excellent video. The camera work on all four of these is good. Narrative is audible and intelligent. A definite fav. Agree w/previous post about wanting to see finished piece.

I'll see if I can set up a turntable and backlite the bowl.

Fantastic! Thank you for posting all of these videos. They've been marvelous to watch and just take in the information.

I think I'm enjoying it as much as you are. I started the series in 2001 and simply couldn't afford to market it (response to direct mail catalogues to libraries was pretty poor) but here are you guys, eating them up! It's only been since September and they've gotten nearly 8000 hits! JT Dunphy's Part 1 has gotten more than 1,100 alone. I'll keep delivering as long as the interest is there. Any suggestions?

Your videos are by far the best thing I've found on Youtube. Many thanks. I wish I could give you a grant so you wouldn't have to sell them and could just give them to the world for free. Really - excellent stuff, and it is so rare to find footage of craftspeople just doing what they do with this free-running narrative.

Thanks so much for the complement. What you suggest is really what I've been after from the beginning: offering the public a national archive of regional artists; and for free! unfortunately the large endowments don't like "archives." They want something "splashy" on PBS.
So help support AiR by requesting your favorite tapes through your local public library!
Hey, everything is accomplished a step at a time.
And again, many thanks for the complement,
Chris
