I sigh at the ever present spirit of condescension found in the comments of this website. So the guy gets a nice little wave and is stoked enough to claim it. Good on him I say! Do you know the guy personally? Maybe he has just started surfing and it's the 1st barrel he has ever ridden. Perhaps he hasn't had a good session for months and is just stoked to be out in the water. Whatever the case, you should go do something positive instead of ripping on a guy who is obviously enjoying himself.
