Jeffrey Osborne "Love Ballad" - Live Concert

Jeffrey Osborne (born March 9, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American funk and R&B musician, and former lead singer of the band L.T.D. Osborne is the youngest of 12 children and is part of a musical family. He has five brothers and six sisters, some of whom went on to have music careers (his brother Billy was an L.T.D. bandmate). Osborne's father, Clarence "Legs" Osborne, was a popular trumpeter who played with Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington. Osborne started his music career in 1969 with a band called Love Men Ltd., who would later become known as L.T.D. The band recorded memorable hits such as "Everytime I Turn Around (Back In Love Again)", "Love Ballad" and "(Holdin' On) When Love Is Gone". At first, Osborne was a drummer, but then became the lead vocalist. He left L.T.D. in 1981 to start a solo career. His solo success includes five gold and platinum albums.

Went to see this AMAZING singer in concert Sunday night & got the best Valentine's Day present ever! I actually got to meet him! He came out, signed autographs, chatted & took photos after the show. So humble & genuinely nice. Not to mention his performance was awesome! He sounds even better in person & is in great physical shape! I cannot say enough about him! I am definitely flying high upon the wings of love for Jeffrey Osborne!

@NannyDalmatian He tours all the time!! I just saw him this past summer at a Jazz Fest in Philly and I'm going to see him again on Feb. 12th.  Please try to find him in your area-it's a show you do not want to miss!!! All of the "Old folks" were shocked that I knew ALL of his songs, since a lot of them were made before I was born-lol LOVE HIM!!!!

I am a dyed in the wool George Benson fan, loved his jazz riffs, however, this IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST version of this song. The original still wins for me. Slower, more heartfelt. Great Song!
