  • What's the song called?

  • Except for a few notes that were changed, it's the 1962 instrumental by Les Cooper called "Wiggle Wobble".

  • fantastic movieeeee!!!!

  • @Jokerpofa yes - it does sound a bit like Wiggle Wobble, but also sounds like may have a bit of Wiggle Wobble flip side called "Dig Yourself". It's on youtube, too. Both great songs ~~ I'm a fan of checking out the flip side : )

  • Diner is one of my Top Ten Films and In my humble opinion, this is the most "uplifting" scene in the movie (followed closely by Mickey Rourke riding a horse near the end of the movie).

  • After checking elsewhere it apparently is a simple rock/blues rift that perhaps whoever was in charge of doing the music for the movie used Cooper's song as a basis for the musicians who recorded the song in '82. Just seems odd it can't be found anywhere other than the actual movie.

  • P.S. Thanks for posting the video, it appears to be the only way to listen to the song.

  • Not according to the song on YouTube & ITunes. It's similar, but it's not the same. Shame too, I've wanted an audio copy of this for yrs, I searched & searched, & it just doesn't seem to exist, neither on the Diner soundtrack or anywhere else.
