Amazing Puppy Birth (Part 4)

This video is Part 4 of a Playlist of 10 videos showing the birth of the puppies through their age of 6 weeks! This pregnant Boxer named JuneBug had 4 puppies!!!! This videos shows the last of the 4 puppies born! The puppy is show born in an ambiotic sac common to all dog births. It is common for all mothers to eat the sac because in the wild she has to hide the smell from possible predators. She gave birth on the floor in a shallow box containing comfortable green outdoor cushions. We put adjustable colored collars on them to make it easier to identify them. Here is the time of birth for the 4 puppies:
Red Female 3:05pm
Beige Female 3:30pm
White Male 4:00pm
Purple Male 5:30pm

There was another puppy born dead about 10 hours later. RIP.
Dogs birth behaviors are related to wolfs because dogs were domesticated from the gray wolf thousands of years ago. In the wild - female wolves eat the newborn's placenta which provides a valuable meal when she is unable to hunt while caring for her pups! The mother will clean the pups by licking which stimulates them to urinate and defecate by licking the genital region. She swallows all of their excretions, keeping the den clean and odor-free.

After this pup did she give birth to the sack? That may have been the cause to the last puppy dying, because if she had stopped having contractions for the sack (many possible reasons) it caused the last puppy to be unborn.
