  • Seems the parts that we are not a fan of are the reason it's such a tight fitting system. I'm seriously considering buying one.

  • @pccoder2671 It's a very good rifle. The parts I'm not a fan of aren't responsible for how tightly the parts fit. The tightness comes from the precision machining of the parts. I do like my rifle and have no intention of getting rid of it. It's one of the more accurate AR's I've owned.

  • Could you replace the take down pins with standard AR pins?

  • @RuthlessZabusa I believe you can, yes.

  • Excellent video on disassembling the hk . Was wondering what your opinion is on the POF ar's compared to other piston driven ar's .

  • @millster101 I haven't had much first hand experience with the POF AR's outside of just handling them. I'm not a big fan of the AR piston guns in general, I prefer DI guns. Since I have to purchase every firearm you see in these videos, and given my lack of interest in piston AR's, it might be some time before I invest in another expensive gas piston AR. :)

  • This.. is just stupid for disassembly. You'd better pray you don't jam up in a firefight with it...

I'll give them precision... that's as far as that's gonna go though. It's overly complicated. plus needing to rebuy some magazines or switch out the lower to use what you've got? That just sounds like a bad investment.

  • Well, in order to get my front pivot pin looked at under warranty, I would of had to send them the whole rifle! Which isn't cheap. But the guy I spoke with did tell me that if the ball bearing should just fall out if the spring and detent were removed. So I know there was no sense in fixing it and making it useable for good. So, I grabbed up the good ol dremel and ground down the bearing enough to clear through the pin hole, then smoothed it out. Works just like a standard pin now. I'm just goi

  • @Sturmgewehre fair enough. I'm buying one this month.

  • @Frankfitz: I'm actually having an issue with the front pivot pin on my MR. For some reason while getting some range time in, the detent and detent spring got jarred lose and fell somewhere around my range. I was able to locate the spring, but no detent. Any suggestions?? H&K said this Was the first they've heard of. The day I called they were field testing the 762, so I gotta try to get the head MR guy on the phone again today....

  • Just not a fan of piston AR's

  • you are one lucky motherfucker to have that rifle

  • I don't see $5000

  • @lvcsslacker it doesn't jam it's H&K made :P

  • Which is the better rifle: the HK MR556 or the FN SCAR 16? Looking at both of them.
