I read in an aircraft mag that there should be one flying by next year. Hopefully that'll be the case.

There is a mossie being restored to airworthy in new zealand for jerry yagen (sp?) in the us. hopefully it will come to the uk sometime soon!

The pilot of this Mosquito is very much alive;
(see previous comments)received an email from him today. I was lucky enough to have flown beside Tony in this self-same aircraft. EGNR to RAF Valley (via the odd lake, bridge and mountain!). An experience to end all experiences. Never to be repeated or forgotten.

Does anybody know if we'll ever see one of these beautiful aircraft fly again? I have happy memories of watching this particular mossie approaching at tree-top height over the countryside and thinking it sounded much more fearsome than a spitfire!

I have got the drop on the lot of you - my father was a night fighter flying Mosquitos from 1943 - 1945 over North Africa and Northern France - he loved flying that - he had spent the previous year flying Beaufighters.
