President Bush meets with Rolling Thunder in 2008

What do you expect Patriot Guard? Artie and RT are notorious for taking credit for work and accomplishments of others. Even his claims to how he started RT are widely disputed by others involved in the events beginning, media accounts of the period, and the official web site for Rolling Thunder Rally. They dress up like biker vets but may or may not be bikers, vets or either. They stopped being POW/MIA and vet advocates long ago. Morphed into a voice for far right politics.

Artie Mueller, what a POS! He just publicly took credit for the hard work and dedication of what was clearly mention of the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR). I have thought about joining Rolling Thunder (RT), but felt they were more interested in their own agenda than their stated cause—my suspicions have been confirmed. Clearly, RT would rather bolster their own ill-gotten image at the expense of a truly philanthropic organization, than earn the title themselves. God pity these worthless bastards.

Hey Fudd00 The Patriot Guard was established in Mulvane, Kansas at American Legion Post 136 in 2005. The group was initially formed to shelter and protect the funerals from protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church.

Rolling Thunder was started to bring attention to the issue of the Government. knowing about Live American POW's that Vietnam wanted to sell back to us, and doing nothing about it. The whole thing was an effort to bring them home.....Not as Bush says where "thousands of motorcyclers come to the nation's capitol to pay tribute to those who have died in service, those who sacrifice and those who serve...." The Mission is to draw attention to the POW cause, something that is not said at all!!

PGR got its start in Kansas in 2005 with members of American legion post 136 taking it upon themselves to provide a motorcycle blockade of the protesters from the westboro baptist church at a funeral for a fallen soldier. When what they did got out to other bikers the size of the group quickly grew and became the PGR.

The first anti protester rally was the gathering of Eagles in D.C. which is where PGR was started from.

Many of the folks in Rolling Thunder ride with the PGR. Many PGR ride with RT

Artie was in a very awkward situation.

I am damn proud to ride with members of various clubs, associations and organizations as a PGR. Quite frankly I couldn't care less who gets credit. It's not about us. It is about those that have paid the ultimate price, their families, those that have stood for US and those that are currently standing for US.

More "W" (wrong again) propaganda, I participated in Rolling Thunder with my wife on our Harley years ago...these vets today should have the balls I did back in the sixties and hand (W) a hangman's rope instead of a vest. With everything being released about how the war was started and the evidence of the neo cons and their plans for the world domination,the lies and deceit, the stipping of our rights in the Constitution I believe every one on this ride veteran or not is retarded or ignorant.
