I agree MI has to balance a budget by law, and Democrats did it with a divided gov. It’s not all that difficult to pass a budget when your party controls all three branches of gov., and you are not in a recession. But here’s a news flash on this crap about the budget being passed so early: it’s not. One of the final pieces was just passed last week, and it is still not done. He balanced some of the budget on the backs of state workers, and they are just starting to negotiate the contracts.
