  • @simmyj93 For more information about the legal profession and the difference between solicitors and barristers take a look at the videos in the legal section of CareerPlayer.

    A very brief explanation of difference between the two is that solicitors work directly with their clients. Barristers are instructed by solicitors if they need specialist knowledge or representation in court. As a solicitor you'll most likely work in a team, as a barrister it's fairly solitary.
