@andreyRUS17 Georgia has no T-64. Georgia has only T-55AM2 and it was NOT used during the confrontation. Georgia used only T-72 and a small number of T-72Sim1.

Russian Tank Force consisted mainly of advanced and uparmored T-72 models, superior to their Georgian counterparts in terms of active and passive armor. Georgians on the other hand had the advantige of night and thermal vision systems, which had no sence, since tanks did not engage at night anyway.

@andreyRUS17 lol, only one Cobra was damaged by a Russian BMP-2 bullet impact and it still got away, though one crew member got fatally injured. Georgians did not loose so many vehicles in Tshkinvali, but in the whole region. Most burned vehicles in the city are either Ossetian or Russian. Not the 5-7 destroyed or abandomed Georgian T-72B1 tanks, no I talk about the 20 destroyed Russo-Ossetian armor + 25 of General Khrulyevs battalion. Georgians lost most during retreat, you during combat. Silly
