You`ll be surprised.

Michael wrote such a lot of "demo-verses" without a real sense.

Just a melody was THE 1.st essential factor.

Berry (Gordy) and Quincy (Jones) could sing a song of it.

And for his pronunciation, he needed a extra coach `cause Michael primarily was a very rhythmic singer... the main thing was- "it needs a groove `n melody (and not the word)" !

And lyrics like this one here, were so typical for Michael... `til someone came and "correct" Michael`s lyrics and ideas ;-)

For this pic I`ve used "Photoimpact" with color correction (blue) and a simply "fading circle blend" with "corny sand"... pics looks like behind a rainy window with this fx then. But it`s nothing special at all.

I really like "The Way You Love Me"... love this motown mood.

@ADKIc3mAnX36O Hold My Hand was also recorded in 2007, we also have the This Is It film. Michael always sounded like himself. Also, many demos of Michael and even clips of him doing impromptu singing are available online. He never sounded like Jason Malachi.

@hysuka2 I guess your one of the people that forgot that Michael wrote and recorded this song in 2007 not 1982 so his voice is different and it was recorded in a basement studio not a professional recording studio. Listen to the demo !
