Yes, that scene was good in Superman Returns. But, it can't compare to the Lois Lane, falling helicopter scene from the original Superman movie.

@MrDark21knight . lool. yes , but my original comment was saying how underpowered he was. hes superman here, wether he was gone for years or not, hes underpowered in this movie compared to what he has been. like i said, in the smallville series of him being just a teenager, not even superman yet or even knowing who he becomes, he was still quicker than this guy. wether he was gone for that long, he still could barely keep up to a falling plane, thats the writers not the fact that he was gone

i agree with everybody else..the original score is better...CGI was perfect in this scene...too bad the rest of the movie wasn't as good.

@koachecaves he just returned from 5years in space...give'em a break you try saving a plane after sitting 5 years in a tiny spaceship...duh
-
it is the best movie scene ever...bare-handed saves a stadium-full of people and airplane

in smallville that superman can toss planets rivalling saturn like its a toy, and can run fast enough to circle tthe planet before anyone knows he moved. some may not like it and think hes to overpowerd or it all sucks, but in comparison to comics, and how powerful he is, smallville does a better job at displaying his capability. if it was smallville superman vs this superman, this guy wouldnt stand a chance

im never one to bash anything superman related, and i could watch this movie over and over, and have lol. but after watching all of smallville this superman is truly soo underpowered. in smallville, clark was much stronger and faster even being a youngan in high school before he becomes superman. now i know they try to make the movie interesting. but really, with supes speed, he coulda stopped that plane way earlier and caught it much easier and set it down more gently. it was all kinda rough

way to ruin the scene with your shitty music

Mr. Reeves, God rest your soul and your wife. You pick the best Superman to take your place! Can't wait for a sequel. Soory to say this actor is the perfect substtitue and the best suited for this role ever. The airplane scene is the best footage ever I've seen in my life!
