On February 18, 2010, four candidates for Governor of Pennsylvania participated in a debate in Philadelphia. A tough casino question was asked by Lily Cavanagh of Casino-Free Philadelphia (www.CasinoFreePhila.org). Both Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato and Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Hoeffel pledged to veto any tax cut for Pennslyvania casinos and to work hard to reign in predatory practices. And State Representative Sam Rohrer simply hit it out of the park. (And Auditor General Jack Wagner is a good friend of predatory gambling.)
