Hot to get upcoming Youtube redesign

Youtube is changing their layout. This video demonstrates how to get this design early. Here is the code:

I heard about this from "Moritz Tolxdorff " on Google Plus.
I think this can also be done on Safari & Firefox with the help of firebug.

I turned off my computer and when I got back home it had switched back to the old look. Why is that? Isn't there a way to get the new layout permanently?
