  • at first when u said "sorry thats my smoke detector" i was like "GET OUTTA THE HOUSE YOU IDIOT" but then i read somones comment about it needing a battery. so all is good.

  • hee! lol! I have to do the you tube videos even if my house is burning! :) No it was just the low battery! I don't know if I love YouTube that much, I think you would have seen me RUN! :)

    Thanks for the comment

  • I have ordered the JVC HD7. Not thro yet but it I did research. I thought I could switch to lower res but will have to check out when here. I have ordered wide an lenses/tele photo etc. It seemed slightly better as a pro cam than the sony. It also has shoe ass/mic input for my rode mic i purchased.

  • Yeah, I went with the Canon HG10 so far I like it, I think the JVC has some other features that are good, but I didn't like the low light performance, let me know how it works!

    Thanks for the comment

  • Your smoke detector needs a battery

  • Hey! Thanks! I did replace it, it's just really high up and I needed a really tall ladder, but I did it. Thanks for watching!

  • if you havent already got a camera look at the new sony hdr-sr12 comming out in march

  • i say you stick with the sony. only because the JVC cannot switch and the sony got better ratings on many websites. there are pretty cool features on the sony camcorder also like the 240 fps slow motion that im not sure the JVC has. im gonna get the sony.

  • yes i seeit is full hc or stand HD.. but files are ok.. What is yer cannon HG10 like? what made u choose it? semi DV/HD

  • Yes I see most edit progs have hd file cut on them. Just used rode mic an seems good although guess i not sure until i edit it to pc. Battery life of pp3 9volt is only an hour so have to keep supply of them for RODE! When i get pole I will be able direct sound more.

  • im sorry that comment was for shane

  • NO!!!!!! You are not stuck with HI DEF. you can switch. Use your cam. You can switch between SP, 1440CBR & FHD. Watching your opening box video really got me hype about my JVC which i had yet to get from butterfly photo. Since i have received it i have been doing nothing but experimenting with my jvc and my mac which the two are golden. Ordered a RODE shotgun mic for it. have a wedding after xmas. The video though from the jvc to the mac imovie HD software is Golden.

  • i have the jvc hd7, i love it, stabilizer could be better, but to answer all question. You can switch from SP video, 1440cbr which is DV video and the FHD which is the greatest Hi def. I dont understnd the fuss about copying hd video to computer being hard. i use imovie HD and i can pull my hd video and my DV video which all look great. havent quit figured final cut and hd7 cooperation, but i will get it.
