I can approach Jesus Christ Himself becasue of the blood of the Lamb, so whereas such intercession of mary may be possible (I havent researched the matter enough), I see no good reason why I myself should not just approach the throne of grace with confidence to find mercy and grace in my time of need (Hebrews 4). I can have my prayers perfectly answered by Jesus, my mediator before the Father, and I recieve daily interecession by inexpressable groans through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said to pray to the Father in Jesus' name.... since He is our Lord and Master, lets listen to Him and be obedient. .... Go straight to the Father, no intercessor needed. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man,

what this means is that if you pray to the virgen mary, she would tell her son and he will do it even if he doesn't want to

@Infidelrf, I never said that EVERYTHING in the OT is a direct correlation to the New. You are completely ignorant of the Catholic faith. If you were not, then you would be Catholic right now. You are in my prayers.

I agree with Cherubaby! Excellent video, THANK YOU!

@ArminianMorningTea Hey Tea! Interesting U quoted Hebrews 4! What is the "throne of grace" made reference to and how did the Hebrew believers understand THAT in light of the O.T.? What is significant about the words deliberately chosen "let us BOLDLY APPROACH" the throne of grace? You said "U receive daily intercession by inexpressible groans through the Holy Spirit" How do you explain that in light of Zech 12:10? GBU!

@1Hope4All Not everything in the Old Testament is a direct correlation to the New. If it were, then every book of the OT would be prophetic, and this is simply not the case.
The type of Biblical interpretation used in this video could be used to justify any erroneous belief system that strays from sound doctrine.
A "type" is always identified as such in the NT.(1Cor.5:7 for example).
This is an example of imposing a belief into scripture that doesn't exist.

@Infidelrf, Hello :) Have you ever heard of Typology? The New Testament is hidden in the Old. And the Old is revealed in the New Testament. Jesus says in Mt 5:17 "“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Everything in the Old testament is a prefigurement of what is to be in the New Testament.

Exceptionally Beautiful! No other video of the Blessed Virgin Mary has moved me as much as this one.
As a bible believing Christian, I'm just seeking some more info on why Catholics pray to Mary.
I appreciate the respectful dialogue for this video, thank you.
But question:
God is not King Solomon, so how can you relate these?
It seems to me that when we force our own meanings in to the stories or verses in the bible, we open the door wide for every kind of false teaching.
If there was 1 single example of believers praying to any other than God in the bible, I would reconsider. God Bless

@Infidelrf, what is in the New Testament is a "fulfillment" of what was in the Old. Just as Jesus says in Matthew 5:17. ;)

@Infidelrf, The Catholic Church does not "force" any translations of any Scripture verse. The Holy Spirit is in charge in the Catholic Church. ;)
God bless you too. †

@Infidelrf, The phrase "pray to" only means "making a request" for something. We are "requesting" the prayers of others. In this case, we request the prayers of Mary who is closest to Jesus. The best person to ask for prayers is one who is very close to Jesus. A humble child can easily talk to Jesus and Jesus will listen.
In James 5:16 we are told to pray for one another. That is an example that we pray to Mary, meaning we ask her to pray for us to Jesus her Son.
Have a blessed night. †
