  • Beautiful horse. You guys are a great team!

  • Why thank you! Have moved on well since this, will be posting video of Wild Oats first 3* win as soon as I get time and hopefully if all goes well, heading to our first 4* in November. Hope I remember to turn the camera on.

  • @Australsporthorses Can I ask you a question? I've been retraining an OTTB. i'm less than 14 years old but have been riding since I was 2. I used to walk him up to the jump and let him jump it from a standstill because thats who my step-uncle who gave him to me said (even though he workss at a racetrack) to jump from a standstill. that, "They need to look at the jump and watch what they are doing." I trotted him to a jump and he did perfect. But i read that from a standstill can hurt their joint

  • @JustBecause110 When starting a young horse it is OK to let them walk into water, down small drops and to small ditches so they get time to see what the problem is but anything that requires a jumping effort should be at least done at the trot. Remember at the end of the day cross county is a forward sport.

  • these vids are great! they appear so game like and didn't think were real until i saw one of my owners standing to the side! amazing! thank you! this has helped people understand why a silly little fence could get missed in the 3^...

  • Pity we didn't have "Horsecam" on algebraeventing at Adelaide! Now that would have been spectacular!!!
