So someone took Judy's cell phone, so today I was able to replace her old cell phone with a new one thanks to the program I was able to start over two years ago. The cell phones are used and are prepaid, they cost the homeless person nothing. They come loaded with a $10 prepaid card and can even be reloaded from time to time.
One of the hardest things while being homeless is that fact that you have no real way of getting in touch with people you may need to reach out to. No way of getting messages from family, friends or employers. There are places that offer things like voicemail and use of phones during certain hours, however NOTHING is available after hours. Even during hours it is very hard to get use of such services. This is such a great program and I am glad I've been blessed to do it.
good job man!
