  • @ClubViking63 yes she was. out of Texas I believe.

  • great

  • @MrBruceBarham country rocker going back to the 60's, tough strong lady that will out sing anyone

  • @bughead3 I always tell people who like the Byrds to look and see who wrote all the best Byrds songs...Gene Clark was a really great songwriter and singer. Set You Free This Time; Feel A Whole Lot Better...and then after the Byrds, She Darked the Sun; Polly Come Home; Through the Morning, Through the Night, etc, etc, etc...great, great stuff.

  • @bughead3 Gene Clark was talented but dysfunctional, what his fear of flying and his heroin and booze problems.

  • @bughead3 I hear you man, right on !!! Gene will always be my fave Byrd !!!

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 did you really mean to say "sore" or was it "soar" you were after?

  • @MrBruceBarham s

She used to be in a Texas punk band, The Textones. But has extensive roots in blues, country blues and country music.

  • @McGarVision Don't be so sure. A lot of these bands don't even look at youtube. And even to the extent that they do, I think they are more apt to look at video clips their own material.

  • .. This is terrific! What Talent MrClark was.. He is sorely missed.. Gotta love, MissCarlo, too :)
