This movie has a great premise: A secret agent goes up against a serial killer, or James Bond vs. American Psycho in Korea.

I've tried to give my top 20 Halloween recommendations some variety, so enjoy this terrifying and well-directed Korean horror thriller.

Watch it at: http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/I_Saw_the_Devil/70144554?trkid=2361637

  • I had to stop in the middle of this vid, could you put some sort of spoiler alert? I was looking forward to this so I didn't want too much spoiled. I still love your vids though! :D

  • @Dscarberry Good call, I just added an annotation. Thank you for the note. :)

  • I have so been wanting to see this! :D It looks very substantial.

  • @LicoriceLain At first I thought it might be the Korean equivalent of Silence of the Lambs, because the directing was so slick. It's not quite of that caliber in the end, but it's still very good.

  • Hello Miss Kill! I picked up Attack the Block based on your review and def had alot of fun with it. Thanks so much for that. What are your thoughts on the Wrong turn franchise # 4 just came out....just wondering :)

  • @imarocker2u I love Attack the Block and am thrilled at the idea that a sequel is in the works.

But ehhhhh, I've never been a fan of the Stan Winston inbreds of Wrong Turn. They always looked a little too Jim Henson silly to me somehow to be scary, and overall I never cared much for that franchise and can't believe it was popular enough to get to 4. :/

  • I'm Korean and watched this video. It was quite gruesome.

  • Please check out Mother, Moss, The King and the Clown, Memories of Murder, Joint Security Area, The Chaser, Attack the Gasstation, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. These are the movies I liked. They have at the moment The London Korean Filmfestival in London. I decided to watch Yellow Sea in the cinema in a couple of days. It gets good reviews.

  • Oldboy and the Host are good not realy horro but close.

  • Just to let you know, the version released in the US is sadly a cut version. The Director's Cut is only available in Korea as far as I know. The Korean release does have English subtitles on the film.

  • Tale of Two Sisters! Tale of Two Sisters!!!!
