The Proletariat only needs the state that is withering away.

@Sismiques That's even worse. Everything has to be in moderation. I have no problem against the state, as long as I don't feed its belly a lot. Say a simple 15% of everything you make in a year goes to the state. The rest is yours to keep. That lean and small state is what I prefer. Someone's gotta keep order in society, and the state knows that best.

@Sismiques Yes it does exist, but that's not what we were arguing about. Taxation in capitalist-leaning nations is less than say what East Germany had, where almost everything was state subsidized. It was bad then, and it's bad now.

Any system that depends on theft and taxation is bound to fail. Look at America and capitalism today. 1 out of 7(I think) Americans are on food stamps. Someone will have to pay for that. And that someone is us. Money taken from me through force. Not good.

@Sismiques Ahhh, when the private individual OFFERS it on his or her own behalf, that's perfectly legitimate. That's called charity. But when the State TAKES that extra you produced away from you through taxation or other theftly means, then, as the word suggests, it is THEFT. It's theft because the individual never consented to giving more.

What the individual gives because they want to is NOT the same as the state taking it away through force in the name of food stamps.
