  • mtnspire, I think you're missing the point. The only people to spend eternity with God will be those who have recognized their inability to please God and the sufficiency of Christ's atoning death for their sins. Those who "believe in the Lord Jesus" (Acts 16:31). We're not all saved. And those who are saved will live lives that show it. But the good news is, no one is kept out of heaven because of their sins, and no one gets in because of their good works. It's only through Jesus.

  • A life that is cross centered is also grace and Christ centered by default

  • =)

  • what is the song name towards the end?

  • @donodadofour same question

  • What was the song playing at the end of the film please?

  • @sovgracemin we can be kept out of heaven because of our sins, we can be born again but our hearts can grow cold, we can be operating in gossip or something else Jesus said is evil and it will stop us from inheriting the kingdom of God

  • I'm blessed by this message. I have the mp3 recording of "Before the Throne of God Above" from T4G and it's been a great blessing for me. Was it Pastor Mahaney the one who lead the song?

  • I don't understand how this is scriptural. The cross is objective--until it becomes an inner reality. 'Be being filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking to one another in hymns and psalms and spiritual songs, making music out of a joyful heart' Continually the Word tells us to attend to the condition of our hearts, be filled with light, have our hearts illuminated by the glory of God, behold the face of Jesus, be of one mind--all what CJ would call 'subjective', right?

  • @sovgracemin well put, thanks.
