National Right To Work Committee President Mark Mix introduces the Committee's series on Card-Check Forced Unionism featuring interviews of workers who participated in a card-check union organizing drive.
UAW received a majority of signatures after weeks of pressure on Dana Corporation employees in Albion, IN. However, several motivated employees who felt that many people were tricked or intimidated into signing the UAW cards would vote down the UAW if a private and secret NLRB election were held. After gathering enough signatures, the employees forced an election that blocked the NLRBs recognition of the UAW. Workers will not have this private free choice option if the current so-called Employee Free Choice Act passed.
