here I am at 16 years old, singing death metal and playing bass. nobody ever believes me that i grew up playing hardcore death metal (before it was cool). this band became Phorenzik and we got pretty big in Northern California in the early 90's. comedy!

i wouldnt say death metal is "cool" these days. actually 90% of the people i talk to hate it. most of the people who say they like death metal dont know what it is.

all this hating Death Metal or Black Metal...seriously if they're out playing it, why knock em? They're having fun and apparently its gotta have some merit as there are many people who listen to it,therefore its a valid form of music in and of itself. I figure, if you don't like it, simply turn it off.
