What is it like to farm on the side of a mountain? Host Dan Hoffman learns from two University of Minnesota students, Chelsea Berndt and Meg Hintzen, and their leader, Julie Tesch of the Minnesota Agricultural Education Council, who traveled to Switzerland to learn about Alpine Farming. Then we travel back home to visit some local family farms in Houston County that display quilts on the sides of their barns. The colorful displays can be seen from nearby highways. Finally we'll meet our FFA Student Leader of the Week, Tessa Ries of the Red Wing FFA Chapter.
