When Newt Gingrich said "[...] que yo reconozco produjeron [...]," would it have been more accurate to say is this way: "yo reconozco que lo he producido una sentimiento malo."? For example, at :26, should Mr. Gingrich have said "sentimiento malo" instead of "mal sentimiento?" I am just curious...becasue personally I know a little Spanish. I am not fluent and grammatically perfect at it; but, I know sufficient Spanish to get around a Spanish speaking country, even when I goof up its grammar.
Cities such as Buenos Aires, Quito, Seville, Madrid, Puerto Vallarta, and Valencia are not ghetto cities. Rather, they are beautiful cities - particularly in regards to architecture and landscapes. Newt Gingrich was merely arguing from ignorance in claiming that Spanish is a ghetto language.
Newt Gingrich probably speaks better Spanish than most Caucasian Americans do. It is a worthy attempt at it. I am almost certain that Hispanic Americans kind of get the gist of what Newt Gingrich was saying to them. He screwed up a few times, both in grammar and pronunciation; but people who speak Spanish shoudl get the picture.
To suggest that "Spanish is the language of the ghettos" is very insulting to the many countries who have Spanish as the official language.

Yeah ol' Newt should have just came out and said that line. That would have been more to the point.
