This beautiful 1965 Sting Ray convertible has been with the current owner since 1971. It's safe to say he really knows the history of this Corvette. And yes, it still retains the factory original L76 engine, Muncie 4-speed, and Positraction rear differential.

Speaking of "original." This Corvette has its original factory applied Rally Red lacquer. Yes, it shows its age but you can still have some fun driving it now and paint it later. The interior is factory original black vinyl and the driver seat has split a seam. The rest of the interior is quite nice.

This Corvette was ordered with the very desirable 327/365 horsepower solid lifter engine. The engine pad will provide further validation. The engine has accumulated 10,000 miles since it was rebuilt. It was balanced and blueprinted and the bore is stock. That 365 horsepower will definitely put a big grin on your face as you shift through the gears. Those fuel injection badges you see were added. This is not a "fuelie."

Some parts have been replaced. They include the gas tank, brakes, master cylinder, clutch, and tires.

The soft top will need replacement but it still functions okay. It just looks old. You will also get a hardtop as part of the package.

The owner states the frame is structurally sound and it has never been restored or rattle can painted. Certainly it would benefit from a restoration but you can decide when. For now, you can just drive and enjoy the Vette.
