  • @1saxonwolf Chausson? I will definitely look into it...I am incredibly interested in learning all that I can about all African martial arts and martial arts in general. How did you come upon Chausson? Do you speak English or were you using a translator? Any and all help would be appreciated,my martial arts brother.

  • @ATACXGYM Here's a common thread between Capoeira, moringue & damye, the French art of Chausson. Practiced by the sailors of the mediterranean and incorporated into Savate boxe francaise. Undeniable connection, interesting to read about, but unfortunately not much in english. Good luck.

  • yes this style is clearly related to capoeira.i really would like to learn more of its history and how it came about.It's practiced a bit more obviously combatively than capoeira is usually presented as.And I practicecapoeira,and I'm ao but to put out a DVD of much mroe combative capeoira.Thanks olivier for letting me know of this video! Why aren't there many punches thrown?
