@hitokirimoy Yeah it needs a 9V battery because it has active electronics. The battery lasted a very long time for me even rehearsing and gigging many times a week. The best bit about active pickups (the use batteries) like the ones on this bass are that they have a flater frequency response than passive pickups, so it's good for all styles of bass playing

Is the strings soft to press onto the fretboard? If you get what i mean.

@CrazyRoofProductions It's super easy, the scale is pretty short so the strings are super easy to play, and it's really easy to fret.
