I REALLY hope that scene is not actually in the movie because that was really cheesy choreography, and I can't think of where it would show up in the storyline.
As a trailer, it was pretty bad, because it only shows very weak bending, and in order to get real publicity for this movie, they need large, dramatic demonstrations of power.
Maybe a live-action movie is just what Avatar needs publicity-wise to get restarted. Maybe Viacom will decide sequels to the animated series would be worth the effort.
I just don't trust Shyamalan. He's like a monkey in a race car.
Some of the characters in the film are Asian. You don't only have to have chinky eyes to be Asian. Asia is a continent which includes people of all race, religious & nationalities. Some people of Asia are Chinese, Japanese, Indians, Persians, even Russian etc. Maybe M. Night is trying to make it realistic.
