Blind Passengers
Taken from double-CD "TIMEMACHINE"
(Wannsee Records / edel / Ausfahrt)

Nik Page presents:
Best Of & New Stuff from Blind Passengers

Founded as an electro-wave-project in 1987, the Blind Passengers went through a very impressive development. They influenced a lot of german bands with their electro-rock-cross over-tracks and were also pioneers of the new metal movement in the late 90s.
Timemachine is the last release of this cultband including all their hits, most of them in new versions and by the way 6 complete new tracks too.
When Rayner Schirner decided to concentrate his strength on his producer career, the time of their bizarre and energetic stage performances were definately over. Now it´s time to say "thank you and good bye" with their marvellous farewell-album "TIMEMACHINE", an exciting journey in time.
CD1 (named "Synths & Hooks") presents the greatest classics of their synth-pop-era, the second CD ("Riffs & Shouts") is a collection of their best powerful, dark and catchy electro-rock and industrial-metal-tracks.
"TIMEMACHINE" is a great legacy of a band who were always ahead of their time.

  • A headless man had a letter to write,

'Twas read by one who had lost his sight.

A mute repeated it word for word,

And deaf were they who listened and heard.
