The film is easily one of the BEST book to film adaptations I have seen. That being said, I think the book is the best way to understand Hunter's mind. A must read book.

It seemed as thought that :

1) There was not enough time for Hunter

2) There woud never be enough time for Hunter

3) The studio would have to understand that Hunter and concision (verbally) mix like oil and water. He has some interesting things to say, we just need to be patient. : )
