These are a must have for us because in winter if the sun is out but snow is on the ground you can still cook. And for backpacking the one that breaks down is great for cooking in. And they keep the heat out of my kitchen in our 100* summer days here in CA

@harleyxxfabco it's not their fault because if they could just drive down to Walmart or Target and pick up all this shit they would. But they can't for various reasons like lack of money, resources and a good government, none of which is their fault. they obviously are grateful for the help they're receiving. and really, we should probably be doing more to help people in these countries when we've got it so good without nearly doing as much as they do just to survive.

Why isn't it their fault that they have barely progressed past the stone age?
I am all for sharing technology withe them. It is just a damn shame that it takes Western civilization (white people) to lift them out of poverty. They ought to be falling all over themselves thanking the Anglo-American culture for dragging them into the 21st century.

@harleyxxfabco racist ass. Not thier fault they are deprived of knowledge that most people take for granted. Is it not fair to share this so that they can live better. I'm sure if thier own people and country wasen't trying to screw them over they could be showning us what to do. Just get over it.

I would love to see that catch on on the Philippines. I've made my own solar oven and it works great. But it's not something that most people want to cook with at this time.
