This 50s Ranch house is loosely based on the color and patterns schemes of the houses in "Doom Town" featured in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull. I say loosely because the actual structure is something that I came up with. A Basic ranch house layout. But I tried to follow the colors of the movie. Bright colors and the brick pattern.

It's got 3 bedrooms. 2 Baths. Kitchen/Dining Room. Mud Room/Garage. Living Room.

Some tricks that I came up with. For the pantry. I just add a door in the kitchen within a small room. It does not actually serve a purpose in the game other than giving it that look. Same thing with the door near the book case in the hallway. It is a closet. Another thing that I did was adding arches in the bedrooms to give it a closet look. Again, it does not serve as an actual closet because you cannot intersect other objects.

Another thing that I decided to do was make the brick pattern in the living room to look like a fireplace. That way I can hang the "George Nelson" style clock over the fireplace. I figured the Sims (People) don't really need a working fireplace. I just wanted something for looks. ost of the chimneys in the game are too high. So I just used walls and then added the brick pattern.
