This is a trailer for my upcoming hack Super Mario Omega which has been in production for over 2 years. I have put a lot of hard work into this hack and I am happy to announce that it is almost time for me to publicly release it!

Super Mario Omega features 7+ worlds, each with a unique theme and new challenges to overcome. I focused heavily on level design while making this hack, every level is different and no gimmicks or tricks are ever used more than once.

Super Mario Omega also features custom music, blocks, graphics, and ASM hacks which help add to the game play experience. I also used every single test level inside of the ROM which means that there will be lots of secret areas and branching paths.

And finally, near the end of the video you may have noticed some levels that had graphics from a variety of retro games. There is a special world in Omega that features 9 levels from 9 of my favourite retro video games, are you skilled enough to find it?

P.S. One of the special worlds is Rockman 2 Wily Stage 1. Am I correct? I am obsessed with Rockman, and I am sure that it is.

@rockmanzerozerozero It's not the exact same as Wily Stage 1 although it does take the graphics and a few other things from it.

@alotosius If you think that's bad then you probably don't want to see what's coming next...um I mean...It's not really that bad compared to a lot of other hacks out there, It starts off fairly easy and then slowly increases in difficulty. I definitely had a lot of fun creating the later levels though =P.

Anyway, a good effort; your work is impressive overall. It's too gimmicky and predictable in some areas, but the hack in general features strong level design, a mostly fair difficulty level, and a good pace throughout. The visuals are all over the place, as sometimes they look great and other times they're hideous, and your music selection was a little too novelty laden, but overall I think you should be proud of what you've done.
