Had this done 2 years ago also but have had problems since, now have a hernia where my stoma (I called it Molly) was :(

@jswilla --I know your comment was quite a while ago, but I figured I'd answer it anyway. Reversal would be the same, just a different part of the intestine.

hi Dingosimon i had colo rectal cancer removed it was a massive tumor 5 months ago i am fitted with a stoma my stomach stick out heaps like a basket ball but i also a big guy just found out i have to get it checked out

I had this done 2 years ago, but now my tummy seems to push the stoma out and looks abnormal, like a hernia. Has anyone else had this problem ?

as far as procedure, is there a huge difference between this and reversal of a loop colostomy?
